Natalie Couch completed her BFA at Elam School of Fine Arts in 1998. Since then she has continued to create artwork and exhibited both nationally and internationally.
Natalie is an active member of the Māori print collective, Toi Whakataa and her work has been exhibited in France, Mexico, USA and Bulgaria. In 2008 she travelled to Pagopago, Samoa, as part of the Creative New Zealand delegation at the 10th Festival of Pacific Arts.
Overall, my work explores the relationship between the internal and external aspects of ourselves, our whakapapa links to the earth, sea and skies and how we all respond to these connections and conditions.
