Ka huri taku aro, ki Tāwhirikohukohu ki Tararua, te maunga pūtake o ngā puna

I am a Wellington based Tā Moko and Multi Medium artist of Muaūpoko/Ngai
Tara descent.

I was always passionate about art, kapa haka and te reo at school which lead
me to study Mātauranga Māori at Te Wānanga o Raukawa, coming through the
undergraduate program eventually completing my Master’s Degree in 2010.

I then went on to study Adult Education and Whakairo in 2011-2012, and have
since focused my energy on my art practice and tā moko, travelling to and
working in various towns and cities throughout New Zealand, Australia,
Rarotonga and Tāhiti.

In 2016 I recently completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Māori Visual Arts
through Massey University.

For the past three years I have delivered the Diploma in Māori Visual Arts at Te
Wānanga o Aotearoa.
