Born in Wellington 1998, I am a carver and tāmoko Artist based in Ōtaki. I attended Te Kura-a-Iwi Whakatupuranga Rua Mano, and Te Kura Kaupapa Māori Te Rito – both kura are total immersion kaupapa Māori. Enjoyed mathematics, carving, kapa haka, waka ama, Māori weaponry and rugby. I attended Te Wānanga-o-Raukawa for three years whilst at secondary Diploma in Māori Design & Art. Bachelor of Māori Design and Art. My tutors Chris Gerretzen and Hemi Tahuparae. Carved taiaha and patu commissioned to me to make for the Wānanga Graduation, August 2017.

Inspired by older male role models, assisting me in training Tu Taua, in Māori weaponry, through Te Wānanga-o-Aotearoa I have also been taken under the watch of a Tohunga Hēmi Te Peeti in tāmoko, having completed The Health and Safety requirements I have now set up a tāmoko studio in Ōtaki, alongside my Art Studio of Carvings and Drawings.
