Since graduating from Elam School of Fine Arts, ​my motivation has been the search for a lifestyle which enables my creativity to flow freely and to  connect myself with the surrounding environment.

This exploration has drawn me to the South Island’s West Coast where I discovered a love and passion for jade. The nourishment of my feminine creativity and the sensuousness of natural forms inspires me. That, along with an affinity for beautiful materials has made jade the perfect medium for me. I delight in the stone, its material qualities and the act of being deeply involved in each and every one of my pieces.

I take my work very seriously and am always striving to reach the next level of craftsmanship, being especially conscious of the importance of  producing pieces which have integrity.
