For over two decades Yannis Petzold has designed and created unique inlay jewellery.

Every piece is a one of a kind bespoke creation. In his studio in Raglan, Aotearoa/New Zealand he handcrafts one-off original pieces , capturing eye and mind with an aesthetic balance of the natural and the mystical using strong geometric shapes. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding wild and windy west coast, its ocean and  surf, as well as a desire to constantly evolve, his work combines noble and exotic materials with an emphasis on recycling – to be as ethical as possible. Matariki has been a theme in Yannis’ creations calling in New beginnings, Reflections, Whanau, and a connection to Aotearoa and the seasons. Yannis’s jewellery has won a loyal following both in Aotearoa and internationally, and he continues to surprise and inspire with his exciting creations. He gives credits to Master carver Chris Bones with whom he apprenticed at 18 years old. No two creations are the same and the artist’s high quality workmanship is assured.
