Cloak #7 Te Poho Rawiri Marae 1769
materials include rabbit, sheep and fox

I conceived of the same event as with cloak #6 but with my iwi’s (tribe’s) central marae in the foreground (meeting house image and tukutuku patterns) and with the Endeavour out the back (out to sea). The black of the door and window of the whare is echoed in the black note aboard the ship bird – denoting the shared human connection along with the misapprehension.
