Manu Maori – Te Toi Whakairo Ono is Kura’s 6th Annual Carving Exhibition opening at 5pm Friday 10th October and closing on 30th November.

An exhibition of  new works based on the broader context of birds and stories endemic to Aotearoa and Maori.

Artists include: Jack Brooking – Ngati Porou,    Will Ngakuru – Te Rarawa,    Warren McGrath – Ngati Ruru, Raukawa ki Wharepuhunga ,    Pita Broad – Ngati Kahu,    Dallas Crombie – Rongomaiwahine, Ngati Kahungunu ,    Toi Te Rangiuaia – Ngati Porou,    Alex Sands – Ngati Kahungunu and Phil Belcher – affiliated iwi – Ngati Mamoe
