Jewellery Designer
Neil has a background in advertising for many years but always had a passion for furniture design and creating carvings. Since living in Mangonui, in the Far North (North Island, New Zealand), he has enjoyed exploring the wealth of local materials. Neil uses local stones and native woods including kauri gum to create his most recent jewellery works. What makes Neil’s work unique is that they are a contemporary blend of native wood, pounamu, kauri gum, jasper, amphibolite and silver.
