My work is fueled by nature and New Zealand’s unique landscapes, and the connection this has with our people.
From Wellington’s eastern suburbs, I produce original, distinctive and recognisable work. I use Gouache paint and oil pastel on cotton rag paper. Prints are Giclee, printed on etching paper and are light fast.
My philosophy about art is that it expands the soul. It creates connection and collective well-being. I apply my philosophy by observing and drawing every day, understanding the pattern, rhythm and colour of the subject. I compose pictures that tell a story.
Participating in opportunities to collaborate and to represent nature and conservation are important for me.
