I am a muralist and painter currently based in Wellington. I grew up in and around Porirua and will always consider it my home.
I have completed many murals in the area, particularly in the picturesque Titahi Bay and the revitalisation of the Porirua Train Station.
My passions include large scale painting, intricate details, learning new skills, collaborating with other artists, getting my hands dirty and experimenting with new materials.
My approach to creating art has always been to capture the feeling of being on the cusp of a new adventure. I try to create work that excites me, I want to make art rad forever! I was heavily inspired by my father from a very young age and as I discovered new mediums I come to appreciate the role modelling and craftsmanship of both David Bowie and in recent years, Lady Gaga.
I am of Ngai Tahu decent and am enjoying the process of getting to know more about Māori art and working alongside other contemporary Māori artists.
